Gold as a precious metal has always fascinated people due to its shininess, its colour and its weight. Until today it is an indication of wealth and power. It was already used as a means of payment  millenniums ago. Also in religion gold always held an important role.

The high value of gold establishes in a comparatively low amount of raw material. Till this day this precious metal can only be sought after and mined through expensive methods.

That is why the price for gold will continue to increase by longer-term.

Meanwhile the known gold deposits of the world are exhausted for the greater part. Therefore the extraction is going to be much more complicated and expensive. Simultaneously the precious metal is more and more needed since it is used in different economic sectors like e.g. medical technology.
